Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and build key components of a multi-tenant WordPress hosting platform in a containerized, auto-scaling environment.
- Collaborate with engineers, SREs, product managers, and architects across teams.
- Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies with global colleagues.
- Contribute to high-impact projects with C-suite visibility.
- Work on tooling for large-scale migrations, AWS step functions, and platform scalability.
Required skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years in software engineering, building distributed applications.
- Strong programming skills in Go and PHP.
- 5+ years of cloud experience (preferably AWS).
- Proficiency with Docker, CDK, CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Experience writing unit, integration, and smoke tests.
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Kubernetes or Nomad.
- Experience with WordPress and AWS services (S3, API Gateway, Lambda, ECS).
- Agile methodology experience with continuous learning mindset.
Experience
7+ years in software engineering with distributed systems; 5+ years in cloud computing.
